PUBLIC MEETING – Sioux Falls Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan

The Sioux Falls MPO and partnering jurisdictions are updating the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), which is done every five years. The planning area includes Sioux Falls, Tea, Harrisburg, Hartford, Brandon, Crooks and portions of Minnehaha and Lincoln Counties. The MTP covers a broad range of travel including bicycle, pedestrian, car, truck, bus and air and addresses the following:

•  Current transportation network conditions.
• Where future growth that will change travel is anticipated to occur.
• How travel may change into the future.
• What improvements are needed to support travel within and through the region by all modes, today and into the future.
